So today and last night I was on skype with Brad for hours. I loved every second of it. Some of the guys that he has AIT were there with him and they were hilarious. What was even better was that he was off base and in civilian clothing. Don’t get me wrong he looks amazing in his uniform, but in his regular clothes it felt more like he was skyping from his house rather than from in South Carolina. I really hope I get to meet the guys he’s been with. They all seem really nice and most of them have been with Brad since basic so it would be neat to be able to meet them after all of the stories I’ve heard about them. I’m so glad he’ll be home soon. Also because its Memorial Day weekend, I am so thankful that Brad is still in training and that he’s in the reserves so he hasn’t been deployed. I honestly don’t know what I would do if something happened to him. I’ve never cared about ANYONE the way I care about him. Thank you to all those soldiers that have put their lives on the line for our country and for all those that are fighting I hope you return to your families safe and sound. #Memorial Day #journal #army #soldiers #skype |
